Objectives
First Eagle Gold Fund invests primarily for total return and long term capital growth in gold and the stocks of companies that are engaged in the gold industry primarily. It can also invest upto 20% of its assets in the debt instruments (bonds and notes) of these companies with no restrictions on the ratings of such debt. In addition, it may invest directly in gold and other precious metals and, subject to certain regulatory limitations, in the gold and precious metals futures markets.
